Dang, they changed the categories again. Trying something new. This is a sketch I did a while back (a very rough sketch) that I thought I'd use for the purposes of experimentation with a direction I'd like to go with my art.
Done with almost exclusively filters, dodge, burn, liquify, blur, and maybe some touchup airbrush. I've never claimed to be professional, but chastise me for using filters and I'll direct you to this. [Link] Stock (rebar) for bg from www.mayang.com |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. It's especially eerie how the face depicted seems to be appearing from nowhere. There is a slight narrowness to the jaw that transfers this face from being to something slighlty more alien. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but the otherwordly quality of the face is definately something worth keeping.
As a whole, I really like it.
